multiple leaks

multiple leaks

Ok so there is a coulple of leaks that I have oil and power steering. Just have a couple of questions where can I jack up the motor to get thoil pan off and idk where to even start looking with the power steering any ideas

Are you sure the oil pan needs to come off? There are plenty of possibilities for an oil leak other than the oil pan gasket not sealing, and almost all of them are easier to fix.

Well I know the opti is leaking but the back of the motor is leaking also I changed the valve cover gaskets and the drain plug but its still leaking. My powerr steering is leaking really bad could it be its just getting dirty and appearing like its oil

LT1's are notorious for the intakes leaking at the china wall. Reach around on the back of the intake where it meets the block and see if that's your leak....

When i originally bought my camaro i had an oil leak from the rear of the intake manifold which is a very common problem for these vehicles. I fixed it and it started leaking again about twenty thousand miles later. I fixed again and have had no problems just use some good permatex rtv silicone. That leak will drain down by your oil pan as well so make sure you trace the leak to the proper spot. The front cover timing chain used to leak on mine as well so you should check that out if you havent already. Usually the oil pan is good until you take it off then it should be replaced i think. Good luck but know ive had all your problems and i think the intake manifold is the worst.
