Which Mufflex to get??

Should I go with the 4" with spintech muffler or the 4" with flowmaster muffler?

Also my car is a 96 but has no cats.Do I go with the 96 version w/dual cats or get the 95 version w/ single cat?Does it really mater when you arn't running cats?

Anybody running this system with Hooker long tubes and no cats?Hows it sound?

Thanks
John

I know a guy that had the 4 inch pipes with the Spintech muffler. It sounded absouletly nasty (I believe he was running no cats, but idk about the headers). He had a bunch of guys help him with the set up and what things to buy and they obviously decided to go with the Spintech. My personal preference is also spintech.
(I'm saving up for their same set up just with the 3.5 inch pipes)

Good luck

I've got a 4" exhaust system minus cat with Hooker longtubes ending in a single 4" tip. It is very loud on the outside and quieter in the passenger compartment. My son has the same car, 94Z, but he has Hooker longtubes going into a X-pipe and then running into a pair of short bullets and dumping before the rear end. You can't have a conversation inside of the car because it's so loud inside.
Of the two, mine sounds louder at an idle and quiets at higher RPMs and his is slightly quieter at idle and gets louder at higher rpms.
