mufflers?

hi guys. i have a 3 inch x pipe coming from my headers. no cats or anything, just nice and simple. well the car sounds like a nascar lol. i need some mufflers to tone this down before i get the cops on me. i was hoping for a nice set of flowmaster mufflers. the x pipe ends right before the rear axle. anyone have suggestions on which mufflers are the best?

I have this muffler,http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-94055/; it is not too bad at idle or low rpms. But when I go wot it sounds like a race car.

I'd go with a full cat-back (Hooker or Magnaflow) to keep the db's nice and low, but use an electric cutout when you need the power. I have this setup, and it's the best of both worlds. Docile when I need it, angry when I don't.

Take a look at the Borla XR-1 sportsman (4 1/2" t x7 1/2" w x16" l) I got a set under mine with 4" of ground clearance (under the rear seats) they are not as loud as a bullet or a flowmaster. LF
