Re: Mufflers

You could try www.ls1sounds.com to listen to sound clips of different exhaust setups. I've never heard of the Nopi muffler.... between the Flowmaster and the Hooker, I prefer the Hooker.

Re: Mufflers

ive also never heard of a nopi muffler. With the flowmaster, which one are you reffering to? There are lots of different ones. Some flow good, some flow like ****. I ran the hooker aero chamber cat back on my last car twice. I am thinking about getting another one for this car. They arent really loud, which is what im looking for. They have a little bit of a rumble at idle, and really open up when you get on it. Overall they are one of the most modest catback systems you can get. Im not for sure if your getting a system or just a muffler. If just a muffler, Id go with hooker, or maybe magnaflow.

Re: Mufflers

No problems with my flowmaster. I plan on going with true duals out the rear soon though. I would however chose hooker over flowmaster if I had to do it again.

Go with the Hooker, you'll have no regrets.

Re: Mufflers

I bought just the hooker muffler and was kinda dissapointed. Not much louder than stock at idle, and it didnt give the deep sound I was looking for at WOT, it wasnt much louder either.

I think the catback gives a different sound. I will say without a cat just the muffler does sound pretty nice though.
