Muffler in I Pipe?
Muffler in I Pipe?
I was just wondering how many if any of you have installed a muffler in your i pipe (preferably before a cutout) in order to clean up the sound and maybe add a little more low end torque? I know a straight through design wouldnt change performance, just sound. But right now i have long tubes, oryp, and a cutout with stock muffler/pipe out back. The sound is good but a little loud for me since i always leave the cutout open. I planned on throwing a proflow twister muffler right before the cutout. I figure it would help make it sound a little cleaner and maybe add a little more torque down low (since its not completely a straight through design). Does this sound like a good idea?
