Muffler hanger/ Exhaust rattle

One of my muffler hangers broke and is gone. I basically could use what is left, i only need a piece of metal with a 90* bend and a screw hole. Does anyone know where i can get this?

I also have seen some universal muffler hangers at autozone and was wondering how do i use them? Would it be better

My exhaust rattles on the crossbrace. Ive heard of people putting washers on it, what type of washers did they put and how did they secure them?

ghetto fix for the crossbar is to take it off and beat it w/ a hammer so it bends where your pipe goes and pray the scew holes still line up. Mine worked good.

Stop by an exhaust shop; I can't believe they'd charge much for a "clean" repair.

Also put some washers in between the brace and the body, it'll give you a little more clearance.

Any washers that fit over the threads of the bolts. To secure them, tighten the bolts.

DOH, i cant believe i didnt picture this before. I guess i didnt take apart the brace before so thats why. I thought people jsut put some random washers in between the exhaust pipe and the brace to keep it from moving but i wondered how theyd stay there

I used some cupped washers from an old end link and i bent the thing a little so i have tons of clearance now.
