Question To much back fire?

When I give my car any decent amount of throttle and the RPMs reach over 3500 their is a back fire I can hear through the exhaust when I let off the throttle. I now LT1's do backfire sometimes but is this really normal for my car to be backfiring this much?

Thanks,

Chris

my car does it and has since i bought it, is it a backfire or is it just an exhaust muffled sound, like a poof not a loud pop.

I've seen in your sig you have a gutted cat and aftermarket cat-back. So its probably just from your lack of exhaust back pressure. Normal.

Question: Why do you have aftermarket fuel injectors set at 60psi on a nearly stock car?
