MT ET Street sizes
MT ET Street sizes
I've got a 95 formula and wants some MT ET streets soon. What sizes are good, I don't want something too huge. I was thinking 26x10.5x16. I only have 367 rwhp 352 tq. Will a 15 in rim fit also without rubbing?
Thanks

Re: MT ET Street sizes
the 26-10.5 ET street is equivelent to a 26-8.5 ET drag slick.
this is because the et streets are measured by section width and the et drags are measured by tread width.
that being said, with 367 at the tires you will overpower a 26-8.5. you need a 26-10. which in an et street is size 26-11.5/15

Re: MT ET Street sizes
15's will clear if it's an LT1. LS1's require 16's or grinding the snot out of the calipers to fit. and if you've got a stock rearend I wouldn't recommend slicks as stock limited slips don't really like that abuse...they break. If you've got a 12 bolt go for it. The 26-11.5/15 would be your best bet. You shouldn't have a problem planting those.

Depends which 15's you use. Weld Pro-Stars and Draglites require grinding the fins off the brake caliper - at least mine did. The Centerline Telstars will work without grinding, but they have limited sizes and backspaces that don't work well on the 4th Gen. Bogart makes a 15x9.5" specifically for the 4th Gen that will fit on the LT1's with no grinding, but now you're looking at $400/wheel.
