Re: msd ignition question

I dont see why not. Ive never seen it done before, but it should function just like a 6a box. exc. the digi. 6 is way better w/all the adj. features. why not right an email to msd tech support?

other mods should be coil and good wires/plugs.

Re: msd ignition question

Not worth looking at aftermarket ignition stuff unless you have a power adder.

Re: msd ignition question

I disagree. unless your car is bone stock. the aftarmarket ign. box will help increase combustion efficiency giving you a smoother running engine, rev. limiter that you can change, better gas mileage, and an even smoother running eng. if you have some mods like a cam. IMHO anyways. maybe the dig. 6 is overkill w/no power adder cause of all the features, but an msd 6a or crane would be worth it.

Thumbs up Re: msd ignition question

I've used that ignition box for a few years now. It has been awesome. MSD is the best!

I have it mounted on the front end of the car on the passenger side attached to the frame. Right where the horns are. I'm using it with their blaster replacement coil. I was thinking about using the bigger HVC coil, but the ignition works excellent the way it is now.
