Re: msd ignition box

Why do you want an ignition box, just to have one, or nitrous, ect?? I'm happy with my mallory 685 for nitrous, it has a built in window switch, pulls timing, rev limiter, 2 stage, ect, and theres no dials, its an LED screen for the adjustments.

Re: msd ignition box

thanks for your opinions. I was thinking of getting one because i was planning on nitrous and i'm about to have my car dynotuned soon and wanted to upgrade the ignition and fuel systems before i did. I also wanted to get the car to run as smoothly since it is my daily driver.i have to msd 8.5 wires and was going to put ngk plugs and the msd coil on along with the ignition box. i'll probably pass on the box but what do you guys think about the msd coil?

Re: msd ignition box

im running one, that was the 2nd mod i did actually. its cheap and better then stock. go for it, imo.
and if u are going to run nitrous u need something to retard the timing and u also need a window switch. mallory 685
