Re: MSD Ignition

only thing i have to say is don't replace the stock coil with an aftermarket one. I have heard from alot of people that aftermarket ones just don't work as well as the stock one.

Though I think MSD had a bad batch of coils awhile back, my replacement MSD Blaster has worked fine for many years.

Mine has worked well now for over a year now also. But I'm in no way suggesting anyone run out and buy one (and I know you're not eaither Shoebox, only using your comment for the durability issue) I think the stock coil is plenty sufficient. That's just my opinion.

Re: MSD Ignition

Alot of people report a smoother idle, but no real power gains so with your mods in sig it probably isn't the best investment to build power. However, it is a good idea when forced induction comes into play.

Re: MSD Ignition

Shoebox - it would be an MSD 6+

And at this point what would be a good choice for my next mod. Cheaper the better.
