msd, or ac delco

Im going to replace the opti soon for my 94 camaro. Do you guys think I should get ac delco nonvented, or msd vented?

BTW my stock nonvented opti lasted over 100,000 miles

There has been a mixed vibe on the MSD unit. I would just go with the Delco replacement, its much cheaper and gets the job done just as well as the more expensive MSD.

I just replaced mine with a stock AC Delco. I did use the MSD cap & rotor. Note: the 94' cap has a retrofit vent built into the new cap. Easy install; just make sure you loctite the rotor screws.

similar to what SMW said, the MSD unit on its own has fitting and hoses for setting up a "vented" system. since your car is a 94, this would be a benefit of the MSD opti. I have one, and I love it, the stocker caused stumbling and in the rain it was missing a lot. I got the MSD unit and hooked up the vacuum lines and it runs like a champ again.
