Question MSD 8.5 wire Installation. Is there bigger wire looms availiable??

When Installing bigger wires how do you get them to fit inside the original wire loom on the passenger side?? The new wires are too thick to fit. Is there a different loom that is bigger that you can buy?? The wires without the loom are way too close to the pullies for comfort without it. I'm surprised MSD ships the LT1 maufatured ones out this way.

Can you "zip-tie" the wires into the loom??? There is a way, I just can't remember..

Take the plastic loom off and throw it away.
Route #2 spark plug wire in the spot where all of them on that side go through and zip tie it to the bracket, now run the rest of your wires through the bracket to the opti, I put convoluted tubing over the wires to keep them from chafing on the bracket.
I have LT headers and this routing method and I have yet to burn a wire.

i barely got my 8mm taylors to fit in my stock looms. I then ditched them and went with MSD's over the valvecover. I don't think you will beable to get the wires to fit the stock looms.

There is no way to use the stock loom as far as I can see. What exactly is rev time talking about?

There is the stock plastic loom below the alternator.
Take this loom and throw it away, route #2 spark plug wire through there and zip tie it, it will be running right where all four used to go.
Now take the rest of your wires and route them through the power steering bracket, if you get under there you will see there is some room to route the wires through there to the opti.
So you will have 3 wires running through the bracket and 1 wire routed in the stock location although without the plastic loom . Drivers side is cake.
