MSD 8.5 wire install on pass. side.

I cannot figure out where to route these. The ac compressor tube is in the way for the stock location. The wires are so tight, I'm having a hard time re-routing them because the wires are made to go in the stock locations, so they're exact size, I have no play. ??? Anybody have any pics or how-to's?? I've tried over and over and Everytime I get a good spot, it won't reach the spark plug, or won't reach the opti. The headers are off btw, I'm installing headers. If that makes a difference. I have more room to work with. Getting frustrated. hands hurt

Nevermind. I removed the stock wire loom above the ac bracket for extra room, and it slid right in. That thing was just in the way. Just for future reference...

I feel your pain , bro. When I was finally doing my edelbrock shorties the first time, it looked like I was into self-mutilation. My hands and half way up my forearms where cut up. It burned like hell to wash and my fingertips hurt from constantly trying to undo or start bolts. The real PITA was trying to get the bolt started for the EGR tube. The backside of the manifold was easy, the pain was on the header. Had I been thinking, I would have bolted the tube on first and then put the header in. I also did the MSD super conductors and plugs at the same time. I didn't have too much of a problem with that part. I had to mock up the headers and y-pipe then fit my Random Tech cat and weld the cat to the y-pipe. While doing this I thought I could get my loudmouth a hair closer so as I tugged on it, it didn't budge much. I tugged harder and when I did, the whole damn cat-back came out of the hangers so the tips where on the ground, the over the axle pipe was on the axle Meanwhile the end ,that would connect to the cat, had my hand smashed to the floor pan. By this time I was wishing I had someone to help , if not that then to at least humor me at that point. Long story short 10 hrs later(I did them all by myself ) and after a whole lot of blood ,sweat and swearing, I was done.

Oh and then 20 minutes after the install I was driving home and the new o2 sensor blows, I used a cheapy Bosch. By then I was not going to crawl on my back( because there wasn't much skin left ) anymore. Went to the dealer, the scanned it, changed(new AC delco) charged me $75(it helps to know someone) parts/labor/comp. read and I was out the door and never looked back!
