MSD 6al or 7al-2?

What advantages would I have with the 7al-2 over the 6al?

Can I hook up more accessories to the 7al-2. I want to hook up a MSD's timing retard, window switch and programmable launch limiter to one of these two ignition boxes.

Will I have problems with the 7al-2 since I drive my Ta on the street quite a bit. The reason I ask is because I see the Minimum Operating Voltage for the 6al is 10 volts and the minimum for the 7al-2 is 12 volts. I have an underdrive pulley and my car has a hard time keeping the volts up when I am idling, not sure if the 7al-2 would create a problem here or not.

Also the 6al CD Voltage Output to Coil is 460-480 V while the 7al-2 is listed as 480 V. Is this a huge advantage for the 7al-2?

As far as my car goes, it when I am running nitrous, it is normal for my car to see nitrous flowing all the way to 6800-6900 rpms, not sure if the 7al-2 would be an advantage here if the 6al would be more than adequate.
