msd 6a ign. box

is this worth buying for 75.00? will it help performance at all on my car? thanks

Maybe, you probably won't see any gain. It will smooth out idle a little. It is useful on cars with a power adder.

I run the 6a MSD box,

AS stated above it will smooth out the idle a little bit...

I got mine for around 60-70 shipped WITH the 96/97 connector....

With a bolt on car you will see zero gains.

The first reply is right on and applies to your later question. If later mods will include forced inductio/power adder then it will help then, but if later mods means only heads/cam it is not worth it.

I ran one for a while. With fresh ignition bits, it was impossible to tell it was there. I wound up tossing it as it's just extra complication introduced to the system that didn't seem to provide any benefits.

Even with mods, I'd spend that money on something else.

Even if you don't use it, you can still dump it off on Ebay for ~$100.
