Exclamation which Mr Gasket Header gasket? ultraseal of course!

With my Rk Sport headers, having the round header pipes, I had to use the mr gasket round chevy small block gaskets. Now, with the pacesetters, the header pipe is the same D shape as the exhast port in the head. So do I use the 720-5965 part number for the LT1 gasket? Will it fit?

Its towards the bottom. I don't know which one will work now...
Anyone been there done that?
thanks

Yes...use the 5965's. You can also use Fel-Pro 1406's, but after two sets of those I switched to Percy's and haven't looked back.

is percy the aluminum ones? I have wondered about them too... but my heads are getting the ends machined nice, so the ultraseals should work great for me. I have either heard the aluminum ones rock, or heard they really suck. I guess you need a flat mounting surface for any gasket to work correct!
thanks!

I have had Percy's on my Daily driver for a year with no drama. I removed my engine on Saturday, for an AI head/cam install and 2800 stall converter and the Percy's header gaskets are in good enough shape that they will be going back on the car.

Percy's dead soft aluminum....... won't burn though if a bolt backs out, reuseable, crush to conform to irregular surfaces, the only way to go.

The 100% CNC'd Full Port StreetPro LT1 Cylinder Heads with Ferreas.

They look SWEEET! Too bad my digital camera died. If they perform half as good as they look I will be a very happy man!
