I get anywhere from 24 -30 mpg on the highway (25 or 6 avg) and anywhere from 11 - 19 (avg 13 or 14) mpg in the city. The city mostly depends on if my cutout is open or closed!
With cutout open, I have a lead foot. 6-spd's rule on the highway.
I seem to get better mileage at night when it's cool and a/c isn't constantly on, of course that could also mean that the cooler weather is less strain on the engine. I don't know, maybe?!?!

This thread spurred me calculate my MPG with an auto(3.73 gears) compared with that of a 6 speed.... This'll save me 60 a month at least(I do alot of interstate travel)... adding up to 720 a year and I plan on keeping this car until I'm out of college... 4 more years... So this makes it cost effective to put it in I guess. I'm not sure how much it'll cost but I'll only have to pay wholesale for the parts and labor will be free. Sound like a good idea?
