MPG with AC partially on??
i got 16 MPG
i filled up full tank, and i turn the AC on about 50-70 miles......i usually get 17-18 MPG, mixed city and freeway
with the ac partially on i get 220-230 miles/full tank
without the AC on at all i get 270-280 miles/full tank

AC shouldn't really bother you much on the highway. It will affect you though. It's more effective than open windows which would create extra drag (for highway speeds)...
Of course, you shouldn't notice a difference if you were going..say flat highways. When I went from New Jersey fo Florida I'd get about 29MPG (330-345 a tank) and that was with the AC on the ENTIRE WAY down...of course, I didn't go through any mountains....

In the city AC will definately kill fuel economy.
Saying that, your fuel economy in the summer is always much higher than in the winter, if you don't use AC in the summer at all. So "waiting" for fall, isn't an answer for that.
It is also more efficient to run with AC and windows up, than t-tops out.

doesnt make a difference for me... my first tank the top was always off and the gas mileage was like 12.9 but ever since then i thought that the t-top was the reason for the lower mileage so i kept them on, i got about 12.3 the next fill 11.9 the next 13.1 the next fill up then i took a 60 mile freeway drive and got 14.1
and my last fill up was 12.6
thats with ac on off windows up down t-top off whatever its always in the 12 range

i drive about 5 miles to freeway 2 miles on freeway then about 3 miles to work... then i drive about 8 miles to school (stop and go) and about 6 miles home (stop and go
so my daily rought has about 24 miles every day and 2 of those are on the freeway
