Moving oil pressure sender to back of intake>>
My old motor is out of the car and the sender is located right above the oil filter. My question is is there enough harness to relocate it to the back of the intake for my new motor like on 95's and up? What else would I need?

well, you would need to angle adapter that was used on the cars that came with it(it also changes the size of the thread, so the same sensor is used), and if the wires don't reach, extend them, but I think if you open the harness up, there will be plenty of wire

On my 93 at least, EGR makes everything tight back there. My engine builder left that hole open. So when I first primed up my engine, "Old Faithful" was in the back of my engine bay! Anyway pluggin that hole was freakin difficult with the EGR on. I can't imagine trying to fit the oil press sensor there.

HOW!!!!!!!!! The damn thing damn near touches the firewall and will break if you push it the wrong way, always see them break and from personal experience, no matter where it is really because its metal glued to plastic. Id love for mine to be by the filter, much easier, trust me dude, if your gonna put a new engine or something, dont put it behind the intake, its a pain.

Only issue with the sensor behind the intake is when you tilt the motor for a clutch install you run the risk of it hitting the firewall. I remove my sensor when swapping clutches. Shoebox has a good photo here: http://shbox.com/1/oil_pressure_sensor.jpg

The harness doesn't require extending it. You'll be fine. I've got mine back there as well as I'm using the other port for a mech oil pressure line. I've installed clutches in mine and never broke the sending unit either and that's w/ solid motor mounts.

Anyone know the part number or where to get the angle adaptor. My sender (plastic broke off)can not get it unscrewed from the angle adaptor. Looks like two 90 deg fittings.

You should still be able to grab the metal base of the sensor. Whether the plastic shell is broken or not should not matter.
