Moving ahead after blown motor

Okay guys, Ive almost got the motor out of the car. just needto take a few more things off and pull it.
Im picking up a shortblock sunday with 80k on it. good compression and crosshatch still on the cylinder walls.
Ide like to drop this in my car, with some ported LT1 heads on top and a larger cam than what I had....(cc305)
My goals are in the neighborhood of 375rwhp...
streetability is not an issue. its just a toy.
I have a 2800 rpm converter. 3.42 gears, and all bolt ons...
Anyone know a local head porter? and anyone have a suggestion with which cam to use.

Not sure on a local porter way up there, but I'd say go with a Comp. 230/236. It sounds good and pulls hard. Since you're getting an 80k mile short block, why not freshen it up a little bit before you stick it back in the car? You know, new seals, bearings, bolts, and rings.
