Motor is toast

Well guys time to rebuild bigger and better over the winter. I just got back from Brians from PCM4Less my motor is toast, ran to rich to long and just washed everything down with fuel and there was no lubricant for anything. I did not run it to long but i think it was to late. I'm a lil depressed after all that work but i did get the tune and i'm going to rebuild the hole bottom end this winter and hopefully reuse my (new) top end parts and maybe get a nice set of heads. I don't know if the block is ok or not i have to see whats going on when i pull it apart.

Anyone know of any good rebuild kits out there i may need a new crank and bearings, now mind you i would love to build a stroker but reality here is that i'm a college student not that i have no money i am limited to money. I was thinking of saving and ordering a block of Golen engines and then putting the top end together and leaving it at that. Thanks for any thoughts

get a forged 355 kit. get a summit catalauge and check out whats in there. stay away from crappy chinese parts, you get what you pay for. if money is that tight try to pick up a stock low millage shortblock for a few hundred and build it up slightly. hope that helps-
