I have a 1994 OBD1 LT1 car. My little brother has a 1996 OBD2 LT1 car. We are about to be swapping his motor/tranny to my car and placing my motor/tranny in his car.

I already plan on running my OBD1 PCM in his car with my OBD1 motor/tranny. I am going to purchase another OBD1 PCM to tune his motor/tranny.

My question is, is his wiring harness going to support my OBD1 motor, and vice versa my wiring harness support his OBD2 motor?

I know that hsi car will need the PCM tuned to take out the CPS (crank position sensor). But what about like the ignition coil and opti. Are both wiring harnesses the same?

If they aren't the same and we do have to swap out wiring harnesses, how much of a PITA are we talking to remove those?
