Will a 97 A4 z28 motor fit into a 95 A4 Z28? My brother is selling his car and the guy offered him a 97 anniversary motor with a hot cam, 1.6 RR, new springs, valve covers, and 20000 original miles as part as the deal. Will this work with my 1995 z28? Thanks

 

Yup it will fit with no mods. As for computer compatibility...I'm sure someone whos done the swap can tell ya. But its been done...a lot.

You don't think I would need a 97 wirining harness?

 

I'd just use your existing wiring harness. Do a search on OBD 2 to OBD 1 swap.. that is basically what you will be doing. Is your current motor shot? Seems like a lot of work for just a hot cam.

 

The motor is free...it is just part of a deal my brother is getting with his car.
