when i am at idle my car idles between 500 and 600 rpms. it bounces up and down causing a stumble. also i noticed that the battery charge level fluctuates with the rpms. also my headlights dim a bit each time the rpms and battery indicator drops. any ideas? opti?

Sounds like a short some were or you have a loose terminal wire on your battery. If not, have the alternator tested.

 

i had that, turned out it was a burnt spark plug wire.

I had headers though.
