Motor on stand, got a question...

I going to pull the pistons and stuff tomorrow and was wondering if they were all numbered or do I need to mark them myself? I will very possibly be going with new pistons but I want to keep everything together. What about the caps and stuff?

Im not sure if the pistons are numbered Ill go check in a minute (my stock ones are in the garage). As far as the caps go I am assuming you mean the rod caps, they are numbered and only go on one way(they will go on either way but they look funny the wrong way).

I got confused because my keith blacks and my eagle rods were stamped so, was,in my head, getting them confused. I wouldnt stamp a piston, I would just use a magic marker.

More than likely I will be going with different pistons anyway but now I need to get by the store and get some numbered stamps. Oh well, at least the hurricane is going the other way.
