Exclamation Motor Mounts

How difficult is it to change them, on a scale of 1 to 10 with average mechanical ability.

what is your ability....1-10

i've swapped the tranny out of my car on the garage floor, yet i've been working on a 4G63 Talon since august, go figure. I'd say I'm at about a 6.5

6.5x2=13/2.75=4.727273
So I would say you should be fine at 4.727273 with your ability and have 1.77 to spare man so your good to go

Please don't steal my formula, I've been perfecting it for 240 seconds to date Thanks,mike

you can do it in a few hours. have to jack the motor up... pull the pins and unbolt them. its somewhat scary/dangerous. if you can get a hoise, get it instead of just jacking up on the balancer cause u dont want that pig falling when your filanges are in there. i changed mine when i did my header job so i had to jack the engine anways, one the engine is lifted tho, it really takes about 1/2 hour to bolt together the one side and then install them both. prolly a 2-3 hour job depending on if you have trouble or not. not terrible tho. you should be fine.

If i could do it, you can. You have more experience than i do.

It was a pain in the *** for how simple a job it should have been. lol.

Well lets see, judging by my formula you take your skill level from 1-10 and multiply by 8 then divide by 11. Yep you should be fine

Seriously, its not nearly as hard as swapping a tranny.
