motor mount shells

ok, I know one side has rivents that need to be drilled out, and the other doesn't. So am I supposed to just be able to pry the shell apart? because it does not want to seperate.

Drill the rivits out. Then the shell will come apart.

Re: motor mount shells

If you didn't get the entire rivet out it will still hold together. I had to get a bigger drill bit to get the rest of the rivets to finally give up. I still had to pry it apart pretty good.

i ground the rivets off with a mini grinder. both sides need griding, but the drivers side actualy bolts together then bolts back in place, whereas the passenger side you set in the shells together and bolt the two peice back to the frame.
