Without the smog pump, EGR, and Cats, it's extremely unlikey that you will pass emissions.

I can understand people wanting to remove the cat. It's costs power and makes the exhaust a pain to route, especially with LT headers. What I don't under stand is removing the EGR and air. They will cost you no power and the EGR can't even be seen.

Mine just passed MD emissions "treadmill" test a few months ago. What's your reasoning for wanting to remove emissions?

I can see your point, but...You really ought to see the look on peoples faces when you run a 12.0 and then pull the hood to show them this....

With the CC305, ported heads, 30# injectors, and 58 MM t-body, I wasn't even close to failing Md. does a "treadmill" test...Which means the car is ran on a chassis dyno, under varying loads and speeds.

Thanks for the kind words about the car...It's been a "labor of love"...LOL

Re: Motor biuld up and emission question???

well since you have a similar setup i might stick with the setup you suggest. in colorado they do chassis dyno style emissions also. do you think a 383 or 355 would alter emissions
