mostly timing chain ? for non-vented
So, when I finally put my electric water pump on, I've learned that I can't also slip in a dual-roller TC because of the opti drive gear.
The Fix, I've read and heard, is to swap to the 'superior' vented setup with the cover, cam, opti, etc.
Our second car runs a dual-roller with a elec pump and a non-vented. Not sure how that was accomplished though.
I'm kinda sweet on my non-vented opti and since she's been doing such a fine job with her modifed vented cap for several years now, I'd like to give her a new friend in the form of a dual-roller TC.
I've got a friend who owns/runs a machine shop closeby and I can almost bet that if I hand him the parts, he just might be able to tool up what I need to run the opti.
If I don't have to inconvienence him, please let me know if there is another, non-custom method.
