Most Power Put Down by LT1 Hotcam?

Mine made 416.8 hp and 437.5 ft/p... also the dyno had to be fairly accurate because when logging my 42lb injectors were over 80% duty cycle… do the math... the dyno operator was telling me I should swap injectors with the guy before me as he was running out of fuel with 32lb injectors and he said my 42lb were going to be way overkill.. As soon as I got on the machine he shut right up, and was quite surprised on the numbers. It was making ~400rwhp without tuning and 416rwhp tuned up...

if your heads are non ported lt4's, on 350, with lower compression, with full exhaust system, your probably right where you should be..

With the mods i have done "lt4" set up im pushing 343 hp and 361 tq @ wheels..... and theres alot of people saying wow....

Im calling bs.... My current mods are 357 = bore .40 over , Lt4 hot cam set up inside and out, headers , exh , cold air , #30 inj, and so on and your telling me your car put over 350 @ the wheels out of a LT1 bone stock 275 and thats not @ the wheels.......Your either not telling us something or your car is a freak of nature... cause most people in az are shocked with the mods I have to be pushing 343 hp and 361 tq @ wheels here LOL

Sorry from what ive seen in person over a #&#& load of LT4 Hot cams without After market heads and more internals i have not seen anyone pushing 350 + @ wheels im simple stateing what ive seen and know im not calling anyone a liar but.......ive seen alot of LT4 set ups with AFR HEADS and strokers pushing over 400 LOL but were talking straight bolt ons , stock heads 350 - 357 block

I can find the dyno sheets if someone wants to post them. my car was not stock. I never said it was. stock shortblock my old ported heads flowed under 260 cfm 11.5to 1 compression slp shorty headers open cut out 52mm tb no underdrive pulley, no ewp at the time. no tricks just a real common combo and good tuning. I have seen 3 or 4 cars locally that have pulled simular numbers. my car also trapped between 112-114mph consistently. If you are having trouble making 350 whp get a better tuner

Well as of 3 years ago my car was at 375.90hp and 353.98tq. Since then I've done some more to the car. I believe I'll i'll put down some better numbers. But the next dyno time will have to be next season, car is uninsured. If anybody wants to raise up the BS flag, let me know and I'll post up my sheet. BTW this was on SpeedInc's dyno.

Was this with a stock converter? SpeedInc's dyno is also my cars second home.

I have a 2800 stall in it. Nothing too extreme... You think a higher stall would benefit me at all?

Probably, what brand are you running? I've gone 12.05 at your mph with a Yank SS3600 and my 3.73 gears. Ran a Vig. 2800 that worked really well too.

Yeah its a Vig2800 stall. I also have 3.73 gearing. Hey you ever go up to DaGrove?

At least once or twice a year. Usually on T&T nights. Been going to Byron once in a while too.
If you have a Vig. 2800 and those gears I'd leave that part of your set-up alone. That's a proven combo for dual duty cars.

My mods are LT pacesetters. Hotcam. Comp cam 1.6 rtr. Comp valve springs. 373 gear. Cai. Pcm for less tune. Egr delete. Throttle body bypass. Knock sensor unhooked. Street tires. My car is running 14 seconds flat. It ran 14.3 before all these mods. Runs smooth just no power. No one knows why.

You could have installed something wrong or damaged something.
The tune could be complete crap I know I had some REALLY bad tunes from Bryan.
By knock sensor unplugged do you literally mean just unplugged or was it tuned out as well? I suspect leaving it disconnected but turned on in the programming could cause a full time timing retard.

How much has the mph gone up on street tires you could spin heavily and not gain much ET but gain a lot of MPH and it would still show a HP increase.

I am not saying street tires are entirely to blame.

Like 4-5 MPH. Best was 13.9 at 102.2 MPH. 2.27 second 60 ft. 9.04 1/8 mile. Car actually don't have enough power to spin

I thought of another possibility, the fuel pump could be weak causing to to not make a lot of HP up top.

102 should get you low 13s.
Is it M6 or A4? If A4 can I guess stock stall? That would be a HUGE problem, if an M6 I would ask how experienced you are shifting a performance manual tranny car. With an M6 4.10s really are a better choice for most guys the double overdrive soaks it right up.

A4 with stock stall. I have my shift points tuned at 6200 rpms. I let it shift itself. 1-2 about 35. 2-3 about 68

my 93' put down 306 on a mustang dyno. hotcam ported factory heads 58mm t/b hooker longtubes stock trans stock rearend
