Re: Most HP gain for 350 dollar

you can get a more aggessive cam for way under $350 and maybe a chip or K&N probably would yield more then just new headers. From dyno tests I have seen the the stock headers while not great arn't too shabby.

Not alot you can do really for $200 that you don't already have. Maybe a short throw shifter ?

Buy summit 1.6 roller tip rockers for $99 part# sum-141507, guide plates from summit for sum-g6451 for $17 and send you ECU to Mad z28 tuning for $80. Thats $196 and the four dollars will buy you two double cheeseburgars and a coke form McDonalds.

Ive heard bad things about coil bind though and valves hitting the pistons because the springs wont lift enough. Also, how much power did you see out of those summit 1.6rr

Hard to say because I did a lot more than just rockers. I think that you would have to do more than 1.6 rockers to get the springs to bind. When that happens it usually from people putting in a different cam and using stock springs.
