Unhappy moser 12 bolt now grinding over bumps??

Hey guys i just got my moser 12 bolt installed today. while driving around ive noticed that on bumps and hard turns something from the passenger rear almost seems like its rubbing the bottom of the car. My buddy was sitting in the rear seat and said it felt like it was right under him. The shop put my car back on the lift and we looked to see what might of been rubbing but we did not find anything that looked suspicious. We even bounced the car up and down but nothing seemed unusual. It is quite annoying and more frequent when i havea full carload of people. What do u think this may be?? Thanks in advance for ur replies.

Heath

not sure exactly what your rubbing sound is like, but maybe you can check your LCA bolts, make sure they're tight enough?

its weird though because its only coming from the passenger side and i know eveything was tightened down to spec the shop that did the work is an authorized moser dealer and does tons of 12 bolts on f-bodys.

sounds like its hitting your, damn cant think of the name, jounce? stoppers?? The rubber stoppers in the wheel-wells, right above the axle tubes on each side. When I put my Moser in, at 50k mine where totally dry rotted and ripped all up. Look at em and u should be able to tell if its rubbing there or not, also look at the top of the axle tube where the jounce stoppers would hit. Did u have a hard time getting the panhard bar back in? Rear could be too far left or right and rubbing one of the inner wheel wells.

the thing is its not only on hard bumps its also when i turn and on really small bumps going very slow. the car is not lowered so i dont see how it would be hitting the bump stops. This also doesent sound like a thunk. Its more of a grind but not like metal against metal. I will definetly check the bump stops and see if its them. I know they are in bad shape.

i know my shocks are bad too, but they never made that noise before so i dont thinks its that. we tried readjusting the sway bar but that had no effect. The bend in the i-pipe that goes over the axle seems to have plenty of room so i dont think its that either.

I think the reason it grinds a little going around turns is the posi which probably needs the additive. Does anyone have anymore ideas on what the rubbing/grinding might be??

Did you get one of those aluminum covers? Sometimes the Panhard bar will interfere with the cover.

Rear panhard grinding, rear swaybar grinding (mine took some massaging ), lack of enough limited slip additive, and maybe your brake calipers are stuck or something to that effect.
