more power
Re: more power
Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!
Let's copy this to "LT1 Based Engine Tech", since "New Member Introduction" doesn't generally result in a lot of tech help.
You indicate you have an LT4 engine with 375 to the rear wheels. You need to tell us what you have already done to the engine, so we know what the starting point is for the next round of performance upgrades. Is this an A4 or an M6 car, so we have some idea of what your current flywheel HP is, and what upgrades will be most compatible?

Re: more power
I have a mild cam it's been stroked not sure how much and is .30 over I've been thinking maybe some heads and a set of headers and it's taking 6 speed car .......I also have a set of late model heads I could possibly get some work done to but don't know what set would be better

Re: more power
If you have LT4 heads, those are the ones to port, there would be no reason to revert to "late model" LT1 heads.
Is this a real 1996 Corvette LT4 engine, or is this an LT1 that has been modified with a few LT4 parts? 375HP at the wheels, would represent about 435 HP at the flywheel, about a 100HP increase over the stock LT4. You really need to find out if it has been stroked, and what cam is in it. And the overbore would be 0.030", not .30 over. Is there a sticker on the PCM indicating who tuned it? They might have details on the build, since they would need that info to do a tune.
Having your heads done will cost more than $500. You might be able to get a decent set of headers for $500 if you do the install yourself. I'm surprised you are making that kind of HP with a stock exhaust.

Re: more power
It's a true lt4 I bought it off a guy and he told me all he knew was it was .030 over and that's all I know I have a friend that dose head work he will port polish and shave the heads for 100 per head and I can get a set of headers for 250 and I can do all the work myself ....how much of a difference would that make in power

Re: more power
Without any indication of the degree of head porting, and the quality of his work, there is no way to know. You can screw up the heads with a poor porting job. Here's an example of PROVEN results:

You also need to consider the right headers. Pacesetter long tubes are the cheapest with regard to bang-for-the-buck. But they need to be cera-metallic coated to prevent excessive under hood temperatures, rust and reduced scavenging.
