More EVAP system help

Ok so i dont have to type it all again, HERE is what is going on.

So after figuring out that everything is in fact working properly, I am still getting code P0441 (no flow during purge). So I am thinking there HAS to be a clogged line or part. Since it was only $15, I replaced Part 11 in this diagram.

When I pulled the old one off, I noticed little black pieces falling out of it. Tapping on its side, more black pieces. I am sure these are little pieces from the charcoal canister.

So I replace the part with the new one, reset my SES light, and think I have solved the problem. About 2 days later, same light. Pulled off NEW part 11, tapped, and whadda-ya-know....little black pieces. Note that these pieces did not fall out of the new Part 11 before I used it.....

So I am assuming that the charcoal inside the charcoal canister is breaking up, and getting stopped at that Part 11, causing a clog and the "no flow" code.

Am I right? Would just replacing the charcoal canister (and blowing out the rear-to-front EVAP line out while its disconneted) solve this problem?

Just figured I'd ask you all here before I go drop $XXX on a new charcoal canister..

Any help is appreciated and sorry for the long post.

wow interesting. Do you pass emissions like that? Well I guess it doesnt matter, as long as it doesnt throw a code.

If it is the charcoal canister I would like to replace it, but if I get stuck, I definitely know what to do. Also thanks for the pic.

I am hoping Injuneer or Shoebox will chime in....they have been a great help....

I dont have emission testing but i dont see how it would really affect it. All its doing is catching the charcoal particles, its still letting the vapor pass through. If you have any more questions just ask. Tyler
