Agree or Disagree with my Cam choice?

Im leaning towards the Crane Cams 222 / 230 .509 / .529 112 LSA
Any opinons?

Im also looking at the 210 / 224, .479 / .518 112 LSA for a more mild cam. Im gonna run it with stock lt1 ported heads.

One question....
Do you need to meet emissions testing standards where you're at?

Im hoping for at least 350rwhp. I also already have headers, stall, free mods, exhaust, and im also gonna get some gears. You think that'll be enough to get the 350?

Im takingthe heads to a local performance shop, they know what they're doing. They are about to introduce a "revolutionary" fuel injection system.

Slap some 1.6RRs on that puppy and you should have no problem. The 210/224 is an easy tune and provides plenty of low end.JMHO

Stang killer I like the Crane 210/224 also see times in sig with stockheads. The only concern I would have is the 94's with a high stall have had problems with shifting. It appears that once you get most 94's and 95's to 60ft hard the computer can't keep up with the acceleration. There are some fixes out there for the problem i went to OBD2 and the problem went away but i don't know if that is an option in an emissions state. Good Luck Frank95z

What year LT1 do you have? If its an ODB-II, you dont need to worry about emissions. If its an ODB-I then forget everything you just read.

Isnt that the other way around OBDII cars are the ones who are gonna be held to the emmision restrictions.
