Ok, heads and cam were a success on the install, but what is following is a damn nightmare for me....first the car was missing so I repolaced the wires and she ran just fine. Today, drove her because it was a nice day....everything was nice, she pulled smoothly and drove her everywhere. When I got home, I noticed what appeared to be an oil drip on teh driveway, so I quicky moved the car to the black top and jacked it up to see if I could see a leak. I went to sniff the oil and it was tranny fluid. I wiped the tranny down and then tried to see where it was coming from....couldnt find the leak. I put here back down, started her up, drove her around the block, no more leak. My wife and I then drove to see my parents....30 miles roughly one way, it was fine...smooth sailing on the highway....on the way back, as soon as I started my car, and put it into gear...my shifter seemed to wobble when driving.....like my tranny was loose or something.....I kept the reves low....driving on the highway...drove in 5th, when I shifted into 6th, mu shiftered seemed liek it was moving a good inch back and fourth...violently..., so I down shifted and kept her in 5th...got off the thruway....car seemed to loose power and seemed like it was missing. I pulled over and was seriously thinking of calling AAA. Shut her down for a bit...then started her and drove some more. Got home....tranny seemed to be wobbling in all gears with kept low revs.......shut her off, popped the hood...all seems fine, put a piece of cardboard underneath the car.....yup....leaking tranny fluid....few drops appeared. Took my console off, looked around the shifter, nothing appeared to be wet, shifter is on tight. all the bolts around the bell housing are tight....where could this vibration be comming from? My clutch is a performace clutch and I get a minimal catter occasional but damn....I am just getting down now because all these problems....I am planning to take the car to my buddies house who helped with the cam install and get the car scanned with teh programmer. Any ideas would be helpful on this one.
