Just curious late at night, so.....

It seems that every cam-related post asks for the best idling/smallest cam to do the job. How about some suggestions for barely streetable cams from hell?

What is the biggest cam you can run in a bolt-on stock head car and not have to floor it all the time? What will barely idle ? etc. any info is appreciated :P

Edit: how about some power quotes too? hehe

 

from what i gather (someone correct me if i'm wrong) with EFI fueling, the idleing part that you speak of with monster cams is all in the tune. EFI allows you the needed adjustability too attain a "mild" mannered idle and part throttle driveability, which you probably wouldnt see very often with a carbed motor and the same setup/cam specs
even the biggest of cams can be made too idle well if someone knows how too tune it
