which mod next!!!!!

hi there,

i'm getting about 900 from my taxes this year, and i dont know what to do next?

i'm gonna do a stall converter when i rebuild my trans so thats gonna be on hold.

i need to have my SFC's installed and i was thinking i could do otehr suspension stuff while its at the shop (LCA's)

or

i can buy a long block for 750 $ with a 60 day warrenty on everything. the accessory braket is broken and i dont get the starter!!!!!

it has 88k on it, and will come with the computer!!!

i've always wanted to start the build up of another engine ever since i did my cam...would this be the time?

what do you think...small suspension and lil stuff or motor?

I'd do the motor, but only if you can afford past the $900. I couldn't tell you how mnay times I started buying parts to build one, only to need money for something else and end up selling them.

I don't know what you have done to your car, but a converter would be a good choice, maybe gears, cam, exhaust/headers... Looking at the big picture, put together a stroker, when its time to get the trans done, get a converter, and do it all at once.

what do you want to do with the car? aggressive street driving? cornering? drag racing?

i'd say suspension...

lca's are simple to install yourself, took me 30 minutes by my self with only a spare tire jack to lift the car...

i have....

CAI
3.73 GEARS W/EATON POSI
Shortie headers
y-pipe
cutout
hotcam
1.66 rr
eletric water pump (waiting to install)
other stuff....donest really make a diference for this

umm....i dont do track often and i dont street race...just drive and stuff.

if i did the motor it'd be to a lil over stock... that way i can use it in this car and still have good gas milage....and i wont have to bullet proof everything else. i.e 396 = 12 bolt and trans

or apperance....

i've wanted to do a cage!!!!!!!

any idea's on the cheapest palce to buy a cage?

DOPE

if it was me i'd buy a wet kit and full ignition(timing retard, window switch) i'd do all of the safety precautions that go along with it as well. dope wont hurt your mileage unless its on. and it will knock a huge chunk off of your track times if you hook it. the hotcam isnt really setup for dope but... i'm sure it wont mind very much.

If your not going to race much, then I can't see putting the money into a motor that will probally just eat more gas. I'd lean towards the suspension, bit I know how those roads are up there, so not sure its a good idea either!
