i changed my oil today and got the mobil 1 multi-vehicle formula (the one with the green top) but is that the best one for my car, or should i have got the performance driving formula (red top), or one of the others (blue top...etc)?

that one should be fine. I believe it is a 10W-30

Most people I think reccomend 5W-30 though. It has a blue top

 

I use Mobil 1 5-30, blue top.

 

yeah, I use the blue top with a mobil 1 filter.

 

10-30 is OK too I use it..
Better if you have higher mileage, too..[I have 141k]
