I wouldn't worry about it, as far as I know (and read) syth's have no problem blending with dino oils. If you really need the last word on oils...go here:

You can mix brands and types, but NEVER EVER mix viscoties. It will work for a while, but you are causing serious harm to the internal components by using different viscosities.
The viscoties are made to reach different levels at operating temps. If you have two different types, ie, 10w30 and 15w40, one starts out as 10 weight (the w is actually for "winter"), and the other starts out as 15 weight. Once at operating temp, one is a 30 weight, and the other is a 40 weight. Just by comparison, you can tell that you have two different weights of oil actually fighting against each other.

Another bit of advise is that if you ever buy a car from anyone and they freely mention that they run different viscosities of oils, I hope that you are buying that car with the sole purpose to rebuild it.
Mixing different viscosities will do no harm.Say you mix a 5w 40 and a 10w 40,what you have is 7.5w 40.Also.I am pretty sure the W stands for weight.

How did you come to the notion that mixing oils has any negative effect? Personal testing experience or hearsay? I have spent a fair amount of time on the before mentioned oil site and have read nothing that supports your statements.
