What happens when you mix Dexcool and Prestone? DON'T ask me why I brought this up.....

 

To make it simple... The theory say becayse of the diffrent makeups of the two fluids a chemical reaction takes place that one fluid seperates and surrounds some chemicals in the other, thus forming heavy deposits (sludge). In other words don't do it! However Prestone makes a DexCool compatible coolant. But i am guessing you mixed the 2 Dexcool and regular antifreeze and now you got a sludge buildup that looks like the inside of Streach Armstrong!

 

Do you think, if a man were to mix the two, that he could get all the sludge out of the engine, radiator and heater core along with the associated hoses and pipes?

Would somethink like a coolant flush cleaner work to get that crap out of there?
