Missing at Idle

Sometimes on very rare occasions my 1995 Z Idles with a slight miss. Some days it goes all day without missing and others it might miss for a few seconds until I hit the gas a few times at which point it usually clears up.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks,

Pop your hood at night or in a dark garage with the engine running and look for a light show.

Make sure all of your wires are pushed all the way on the plug and opti.

If that's not it....you might want to pull and check your plugs.

No other problems throughout the RPM's? Like it's starving for fuel or are you sure it's spark?

No problems. It pulls nicley through the RPM range. But your right I'll need to check the wires first. I bought the car with 20K miles on it and it now has 24K. How long sould the stock wires last and how long before its ready for a tune up, new plugs etc? I'm sure its only had oil changes, since it still has the original tires on it and they have yet to be rotated.
