Free Mods!?

I'm interested in what all of the "Free Mods" are for an LT1. I seen a recent article in "GM High-Tech Performance" about the free mods for the LS1. Come on, I'm sure all of you guys on here can come up with a pretty good list of things I can do to my car for free (or relatively close to it) to get a few horses here and there.

Personally I wouldn't bother with them...spend that time making your car clean as hell. But if you REALLY want them...I'm sure someone else will drop you the 411...

I would not suggest descreening the MAF. It has a dyno proven result of a gain in 1 hp and loss of 3 ft. lbs. of tq.

the only two that are really worth doing are the throttle body bypass (which year is your car) and cutting the face off your air box if you don't already have a cold air kit.

bypass the throttle body and de-screen your MAFS...

that loss in torque can be gained with restriction elsewhere...
