Missfire

Hey guys. I got this p0300 code that everyone is always talking about, on my 96z. Heres what ive done. New wires, new plugs, new egr valve. I normaly put a new fuel filter in about every year, it is time again. Ive owned the car for 2 years and ive never did a injector cleaning. You guys think its a fuel problem? or an opti problem? And its kinda odd cause i put all them new parts in about a month ago. It ran fine up to a couple days ago. I checked all the wires plugs and vacume lines. Now im stuck. What else should i look at?

Did you check the coil wire? Since the P0300 code is the random misfire code, it's probably something that's effecting all the cylinders.

Thanks for the reply. I just did that rightnow. It was bad indeed. It had twice as much resistance as the new wire that i put in. I dont know if this fixed it or not. I turned the car on and the light is still on. Though the moter idled much smoother. Im going to take it for a test drive to see if the light turns off.
