Re: misses and stumbles

Seriously i wouldnt got replacing opti-spark right away. I SEE WAY TO MANY people blaming everything on the opti. I have a problem similiar to your's, i'm going to explain my problem to you so you can see if your's seems simliar. When i start up my car no matter if it is warm or cold at idle my car will sit there and shake and i can notice the rpm's dropping a tad. When i'm driving and trying to maintain a speed it'll start stumbling really bad and the car will start shaking. This is defintly noticable when you try to go up a hill, and even more so when you go up a hill in 5th or 6th. When i go wot it seems to clear up more-so than just cruising but the car just doesnt pull like it use to. Well a few days ago i tried some fuel injector cleaner, and a day or two after that my car got noticably better, i mean a whole lot it was actaully not annoying to drive anymore. The problem still isnt completly gone but i'm going to run some seafoam through my car. And if i let my car sit for a day or so without running the next time i start it, it'll be missing really bad but with that injector cleaner it seems to clear up after about 10 minutes. I would try some fuel injector cleaner first since it's cheap, and also a fuel filter. Also at night you can start your car and look under the hood and see if you see any wires arcing.

Re: misses and stumbles

Gotta pull the fans, coil, air pump, water pump, and crankshaft balancer pully. Fun stuff.
