Miss at WOT? PLEASE HELP!!!

I just installed a fresh rebuilt trans and a new converter in my z28, i planned on doing this for some time and when my car started missing at wide open throttle i thought the trans was going so i went with the new stuff, new converter and trans same problem? what could cause this, rev limiter? thats almost what it feels like, it just starts missing, the rpms rev up and drop..... This only started recently with this car.

anything will help, Thanks Guys!!!

Injector would do it, Fuel pump, I wouldn't think it was the Opti, that would do it all the time. Those are my ideas

http://shbox.com/1/coil_testing.jpg One way to check see if it's good...
http://shbox.com/coil/coil.html How to replace it if it's not.
Autozone Wells C846 $14.99 the price at Autozone for a OEM new one, not too bad to replace, and if it's one less thing ya have to worry bout later.
Also, try looking at your coil to opti wire at night, make sure it's not arching across to the water pump, mine did that for a while made it run like crap, oh and ya might check for other light show effects under the hood, such as burnt plug wires. And you can pick up a spark plug wire tester to watch everytime the plug wire gets electricity to it just ideas.
Thanks again Shoebox
