I have i 5500 miss which i cant figure out. It misses only whne I make a pull, when i reach 5500 it mises three or two time, some times not missing at all. Now i have delteq ingition so i would think it wouldnt be opti-spark. But the delteq kit i bouhgt still uses the opti-spark sensor parts. COuld that be failing?? its not real old but had 30000 on it. also i have be hearing more and more valve ticking from the right bank and some times it there and some time its not. its a hard tick tick tick like a bad lifter or something, still havent figure out why the ticking would be there only some of the time.so mybe you guys can help, thing its ingition or something in the valvetrain ?

 

Look for arcing of the wires; with the engine running, look under the hood in the dark at the spark plugs and wires. Arcing can sound like a ticking noise.
