Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!
Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!
after many hours and lots of research I finally got the problem solved. It seems to be quite a common problem among the LT1 to encounter a miss-stumble or "searching for power" when around the higher RPM's. Many people say the problem is due to many things ranging from $30 - $500 fix its. I started at the $30 end and found that the COIL WIRE is the solution. At least in my case. I bought a OEM wire and had it installed and the car runs like new, no miss, just pure HP on tap. THANK GOD it wasnt the OPTI.
Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!
My car started doing this after i hit some high water on a dark backroad. It ran like **** so i just assumed that it was the opit so i changed it(wasnt as bad as i thought) but it didnt fix the problem. It ended up being the MAF sensor. That will **** you off!!!

Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!
I did wires, plugs, and coil, and thought that would solve my problem, until my bad opti melted and ruined 3 of my plugs. Your a lucky one, feel good you saved a good amount of time and money.

I'm chasing the same type of problem on mine, stumbling. I replaced all the wires and coil wire among other things, and the opti, lol, still not fixed. Consider yourself lucky

hello everyone i'm new to the site
but i m also having the same miss and it is only somtimes after the car is warm it seems? but then sometimes it is when you start it and get it a lil warm then you test it once and it happens then also? i think it may be my opti plug b/c sometimes the car will not start back up and i have to tap the opti plug going into the opti. do guys think that could be my whole prob?
i did a new opti. But my opti plug going into the opti does not click and stay in tight anyone else like this?Anyone know where to get these plugs cheap let me know plezzz thanks
