Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!

after many hours and lots of research I finally got the problem solved. It seems to be quite a common problem among the LT1 to encounter a miss-stumble or "searching for power" when around the higher RPM's. Many people say the problem is due to many things ranging from $30 - $500 fix its. I started at the $30 end and found that the COIL WIRE is the solution. At least in my case. I bought a OEM wire and had it installed and the car runs like new, no miss, just pure HP on tap. THANK GOD it wasnt the OPTI.

Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!

My car started doing this after i hit some high water on a dark backroad. It ran like **** so i just assumed that it was the opit so i changed it(wasnt as bad as i thought) but it didnt fix the problem. It ended up being the MAF sensor. That will **** you off!!!

Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!

I did wires, plugs, and coil, and thought that would solve my problem, until my bad opti melted and ruined 3 of my plugs. Your a lucky one, feel good you saved a good amount of time and money.

Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!

I'm chasing the same type of problem on mine, stumbling. I replaced all the wires and coil wire among other things, and the opti, lol, still not fixed. Consider yourself lucky

Re: Miss-stumble ANSWERED!!!!

you can get the clip/plug from your local cheavy dealership. I do not think they would be cheap per say, but I would only buy OEM anyway.
