Question miss but wires look fine

i got my car back from having new wires ran ( msd 8.5mm) in november. well right after i got it back i fried the #5 wire on the drivers side ( i think thats right), then i replaced that and zip tied it so the wire wasnt resting on the header. and it was running great for like a month then it started doin it again. today i drove it and it mainly missed when i was at stop. but when i would get on it a little it would start missing, but just driving it normally it was fine. i inspected the wires adn plugs and all the boots were on tightly. whats the deal. please help.

I would like to figure it out soon because when the whether gets good im gonna race a turbo-ed eclipse, it is rumored that it runs 13.5. so i would like my car in tip top shape for the race. thanks guys.

Probly change the plugs and see if that gets it.

at night time pop your hood and look for any "ignition leaks". Its real easy to see the arching at night.

Make sure all your wire are on tight. Use a meter to check them if they look ok.

Many overlook the power of an inductive timing light as a diagnostic tool.

It will show you an intermittent spark. You will see it in the flash pattern.

By the way, I hope you will have something to show for your efforts against the Eclipse. It would be dumb to blow up your engine and come out empty handed. While you're at it, keep it off the streets. I see too many young folks either hurt their ride or themselves or both. Not to mention innocent bystanders.
